Well this could be a turn up for the books! Why, oh, why is Micah Sloat bigging up Paranormal Activity 2 & #8211; and why does he keep using the word & #8220;we & #8221;? Speaking to MTV, Sloat has been blabbing about the sequel to last year & #8217;s low-fi horror sensation:
& #8220;We have money now, but we & #8217;re staying true to the heart of the movie, to the spirit of it, to the vision. & #8221;
Many thought the film would be a new story, but could it be a prequel of some kind? Or will this go down & #8216;The Exorcist 2: The Heretic & #8217; route and have a whole & #8220;remember what happened? & #8221; plot line (please God, no. That film was bloody awful). According, again to Sloat, my Exorcist 2 hypothesis is not on the money:
& #8220;It & #8217;s really cool, it & #8217;s gonna be really interesting and it & #8217;s not gonna suck, which most horror sequels do. This is gonna be good. & #8221;
Then again, he could be lying & #8230;and a studio plant. You know, mention the film, drop a few misleading hints, making the audience think one thing and reveal another. There was a recent news story of Brian De Palma & #8217;s potential involvement after Kevin Greutert was ordered back to the Saw VII set to finish off the franchise by Lionsgate. I & #8217;m sure he & #8217;s cursing them under his breath every day for that one!
So & #8230;Paranormal Activity 2 & #8230;just what is it going to be?
In general, the majority of the population has heard of astral projection. They may have heard of it from a reading a book, watching a movie or from an enlightened friend. However, it seems very few know that astral projection is a genuine occurrence. It is something that we can all naturally do. You may have even projected and never realize that you did so. Many people do.
First, you need to understand that astral projection is real. It is the ability of any individual to leave their body. We all have this ability, it happens as we lay sleeping during the night. While we sleep, our physical body is at rest, the subconscious mind then takes control. While this is going on an individual is astral projecting, although for the most part, they will not remember doing so.
When a person projects, they go wherever they want to go. If you were to think back to your childhood, you will probably recall being able to do this when you would go to bed, as you aged you forgot. It is possible to go anywhere, there is no such thing as time or distance when it comes to astral projection. When a person is sleeping it is the physical body that is asleep, the astral body is the one that travels.
The next question is what the astral body is. It is the ethereal body. The astral body is the invisible duplicate of the body. It houses all our desires and feelings. Does the astral body leave and not return? A silver cord connects the physical and astral bodies together.
As the astral body first enters the physical body, the silver cord is connected. There is no depletion of this until after the time of death, when the astral body leaves the physical body for the very last time. This silver cord prevents the astral body from leaving and not coming back.
Another question that many have is where do you go when you astral project? The astral body goes to the astral plane, which is the body double' of the Earth. This vibrates faster then the physical Earth and these vibrations penetrate to the Earth's core. Others define the astral plane as another dimension of reality. Most will agree though that there is more then one level to the astral plane.
Naturally, the question of danger astral projecting comes to mind. The answer is both yes and no. We all have the ability to astral project. We know that the astral body can leave the physical body it will return. However, we must be sensible as with all things. Astral projection requires a good solid thinking skills and understanding what it is you want and where you would like to go.
You can find danger if your mind is not sound when you astral project. Therefore, anyone under the influence of drugs or alcohol can find themselves in a crisis. These may be the lower levels of the astral plane.
This is why it is important that you know what you are doing and where it is you want to go. The goal is to astral project consciously. You should have complete control over what your astral body is doing. The control comes from your thoughts.
When you prepare yourself properly, beforehand you can train yourself to astral project very quickly. Some individuals prefer doing astral projection alone in their homes. Meanwhile, others learn various methods that help them gain control and enjoy their experiences while being lead by numerous professionals in the astral projection field.
You can find various other resources such as books online. For instance, you can create the right state of mind by listening to quality astral projection hypnosis recordings. It will help you relax and walk you through the various stages. This is beneficial since you can continue playing the recording repeatedly until your subconscious mind picks up the message that it is all right for you to leave your body.
There have been great advances recently in a sound technology called binaural beats'. This works by playing slightly different sound frequencies in each ear. This has the effect of very quickly relaxing you into a deep state of meditation which is necessary for successful astral projection.
You should not become frustrated when you are not successful at astral projection when you first begin. You must practice the art to perfect it. It is not something you must acquire, since we are all capable of doing it. However, you need to fine-tune your natural ability since you have forgotten it.
Still need to be convinced? When did you last dream you were flying and then felt as though you were falling? As the astral body, moves through the astral plane it, feels like flying. The sensation of falling comes when the astral body comes back into the physical body. Astral projection is very real. Anyone can do it and find benefit in it. However, you do have to invest time in fine-tuning your natural ability in order to reach the kind of success you desire with astral projection. It will become easier to do once you begin your journey while projecting.

‘Paranormal Activity’ Star Micah Sloat Talks Sequel ‘Director Drama’

The rumored list of directors Paramount has in line to succeed Oren Peli as the director of & #8220;Paranormal Activity 2 & #8243; includes Brian De Palma, Brad Anderson and Greg McLean, but one of the first movie & #8217;s stars, Micah Sloat, won & #8217;t tell if he knows which one has the best shot.
& #8220;Paranormal Activity & #8221; earned Peli a nomination for Best First Feature on Friday night (March 5) at the Independent Spirit Awards, but Sloat offered a vote of confidence that whomever receives the franchise next will be up to the task.
& #8220;I know a lot I can & #8217;t tell you, & #8221; Sloat told MTV News. & #8220;It & #8217;s really interesting & #8212; the whole director drama with the & #8216;Saw [VI] & #8216; director [Kevin Greutert]. That & #8217;s been public. & #8221;
Greutert had the green light to helm & #8220;Paranormal Activity 2 & #8243; before Lionsgate and Twisted Pictures enforced an obligation in his contract to return and direct & #8220;Saw VII 3-D. & #8221; Without an official replacement, all Sloat would share was how much he expects & #8220;Paranormal 2 & #8243; to live up to its breakout namesake & #8217;s legacy.

Its reported 434,000 percent return on an initial $15,000 investment put it in the record books for profitability, but the pressure will be heavy on & #8220;Paranormal Activity 2 & #8243; to emulate that success on a larger scale.
